I just read through it all and it TOTALLY brings me back to when I was in Kenya. I think the elementary age kids sound a little more energetic than the highschool kids that I had. Way to eat the bush meat, I never had the priviledge:) Way to go you guys, sounds like you are fully into it and I love all the pictures!
Just read and looked at all your new postings. The smiles of those kids of yours, Joe, are infectious! And going from not sure if you're feeling helpful to almost running the place, Adrienne - it's amazing the changes that can occur in such a short period of time :) And yes, I was very impressed with your organization of the meds. I can understand the pride and sense of accomplishment that comes with organization! No, I'm not anal whatsoever. *ahem*

Sounds like you're having an amazing experience, I'm glad that you're settling in! Amazing how fast a month flies by eh?
I'm excited to see how the rest of your time there goes, and hopefully I'll get to see you guys for a bit too...I'm planning my trip back for May-Sept '09 =)

I have been busy with new work as well so I have missed about two weeks! I am amazed and excited to see you in Kabala. So many familiar faces in every pictures. Children, friends, guards...
I guess every month will bring new challenges, but I hope you now realize how hard it was for me to tell you exactly what you need to hear to be prepared. TIA! This is Africa. You get served mystery bush meat, watch gorgeous sunsets and are getting to know some incredible people.
I am so happy that you are there. Send my love to everyone. If you remember tell mighty Asher house I hope they are training...Pasano, Elizabeth, Mamunatu, Fatmata....EH! I miss them all.
